Teacher Vs. Music Teacher

So we all know the Philosophy papers are past due and we are all happy about that and if we didn't see the upper class men had theirs due the same day but it was a little different. Little in words but big in thoughts i think. They had to do a philosophy on teaching in general and not music education.....Do you think it would be easier to think from a teaching point of view, a music teacher point of view, which we would like to think we know about, or does it not matter. This discussion came up with an upperclassmen and my initial response was it really didn't matter because a teacher is a teacher.....Just wanted to get some other opinions on this.
